Moitrisanjog works to make mental health information, emotional support and appropriate care more accessible at the community level. Our approach focuses on creating non-judgmental, inclusive and supportive spaces where people can speak about distress, seek guidance and connect with appropriate services when required.
Moitrisanjog organizes community-based mental health camps to bring mental health support closer to people who may face barriers in accessing formal services. The camps create safe and non-judgmental spaces for conversations around emotional well-being, provide opportunities to speak with trained professionals, and facilitate appropriate referrals where further support is required.
Moitrisanjog facilitates confidential one-to-one counselling and emotional support for people experiencing stress, emotional distress, family or relationship concerns, discrimination, isolation or other psychosocial difficulties. The focus is on listening without judgment, supporting the person to identify possible ways forward, and connecting them with specialized services when needed.
Through group discussions, awareness sessions and community conversations, Moitrisanjog works to reduce stigma and misinformation around mental health. These spaces encourage people to talk about emotional well-being, recognize distress, and understand when and where to seek help, and build more supportive community responses.
When a person needs support beyond an immediate conversation, Moitrisanjog helps facilitate linkages and referrals to appropriate mental health, health or social support services. Our role is to make the pathway to care easier to understand and more accessible while respecting privacy, dignity and individual choice.
Moitrisanjog conducts community awareness and conversations on suicide prevention, recognising warning signs, responding with sensitivity and encouraging timely help-seeking. Where a person may require professional or emergency support, appropriate referral and linkage are facilitated.
