Moitrisanjog believes that sustainable community change requires people from the community to participate in decisions, develop leadership skills and shape the issues that affect their lives. Our Leadership Journey creates spaces for learning, reflection, peer support and collective action.
Community members participate in structured leadership spaces where they can explore leadership, rights, communication, decision-making and collective responsibility. The emphasis is on developing leadership from within the community rather than speaking on behalf of the community.
Learning sessions strengthen practical skills such as communication, facilitation, documentation, community engagement, planning and understanding rights and services. Topics are selected according to emerging community and organizational needs.
Regular community meetings create opportunities to discuss local concerns, share experiences, identify priorities and reflect on ongoing work. These spaces help ensure that programmes remain connected to community realities and voices.
Leadership is strengthened through peer learning, shared experience and mentoring. Community members are encouraged to learn from one another, support emerging leaders and build collective confidence.
