Main Initiative Overview

Moitrisanjog Gurukul is a transgender-led learning initiative for children. It aims to create an inclusive, caring and supportive learning environment where education is connected with mentorship, creativity, confidence and emotional well-being.

Educational Support

Children receive regular learning support that complements their formal education and helps strengthen foundational learning, study habits and confidence.

Mentorship & Life Skills

Gurukul creates opportunities for children to interact with supportive adults and mentors while developing communication, confidence, everyday life skills and a sense of responsibility.

Creative & Cultural Learning

Art, storytelling, celebrations, creative activities and cultural engagement are used to make learning enjoyable and to give children opportunities for expression and participation.

Emotional Well-being & Inclusive Learning

Gurukul aims to provide a respectful and non-discriminatory learning space where children feel heard, valued and encouraged. Emotional well-being and supportive relationships are treated as important parts of learning.
