Community-Led Legal Consultation on Transgender Rights

Moitrisanjog Society, Cooch Behar, organised a community-led legal consultation focused on the challenges faced by transgender and gender-diverse individuals in accessing their rights, protections, and legal services under the Transgender Protection Act 2026.

The consultation provided a safe and open space for community members to share their experiences, concerns, and difficulties related to discrimination, documentation, access to services, employment, healthcare, and other areas where legal protection and support are important.
